Junior & Adult Singers Are Invited To Perform in a Welcoming Choir Environment In Rancho Cucamonga

Your Community Choirs

Our choir brings together singers who want to learn, improve and perform as part of a supportive musical group. We offer a junior choir for ages 10 to 16 and an adult community choir for singers who are ready to rehearse and contribute as part of an ensemble.

Rehearsals focus on musical teamwork and building strong ensemble skills. Whether you are a young singer beginning your music-reading journey or an adult looking for a committed choir experience, there is a place for you here.

A Welcoming Community Choir for Committed Singers

Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir is open to community members who enjoy singing and want to be part of a collaborative ensemble. Everyone is welcome, but singers do need to be able to sing confidently enough to contribute in rehearsal, since each voice plays an important role in the group.

The Adult Choir meets weekly from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Rehearsals are focused, rewarding and built around ensemble commitment, musical growth and community.

We are also more understanding of senior singers during the audition process.

Highlights:

  • Meets weekly, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

  • Community choir for adults

  • Welcoming environment

  • Singers should be able to participate independently and contribute to the ensemble

Junior Choir

For ages 10 to 16

Our Junior Choir is a great fit for young singers who already know how to match pitch and are ready to grow in a structured, encouraging setting.

Singers meet once a week from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. Rehearsals include 45 minutes of singing and song work, along with instruction designed to help students build musicianship and learn how to read music.

We are especially mindful of age and development during auditions, and expectations for junior singers are more flexible than for adults.

Highlights:

  • Ages 10 to 16

  • Meets weekly, 4:30 to 5:45 p.m.

  • 45 minutes of singing songs

  • Students will be taught how to read music

  • Singers should already be able to match pitch

Auditions

What to expect:

  • A simple vocal assessment

  • A chance to demonstrate pitch matching and singing ability

  • A friendly, supportive process

Bring to your audition:

  • Water bottle

  • Pencil

Both the Junior Choir and Adult Choir require an audition. Auditions help us place singers well and create a strong experience for every member of the choir.

For Junior Choir auditions, we understand that they are still developing their voice and skills so it is less rigorous than the Adult Choir audition. Our goal is to make auditions comfortable while still ensuring each singer is ready for the rehearsal setting.
